But I’m gonna with myself if I finish and do as well as I can. They buy the copy of the morning Boston Globe and they look up all the runners numbers and they shout your name as you’re running by. For a lot of the people, they’re watching someone they know – their neighbor, relatives or somebody like that. So, it’s not just the top runners — it’s the whole group that make up the race.Fan: You’re all winners!Wrye: All that grind and misery you go through for three months before training for it comes out on that last day when you run the race and there’s a million fans and five thousand runners. You’re having a good time. The adrenaline just flows naturally there. You’re glad it’s over when it’s over.My thanks to runners Bob Hodge and Steve Wrye.
