What a shaman has to do is come to understand and have the knowledge of all of the herbal medicines and all of the poisonous plants. I use plants, bark, leaves and roots in order to make natural medicines to cure people with. This is one part of the work of a shaman. The other part of his work, which I have to be able to fulfill is to be able to pass on advice, when asked, and to lead an exemplary life.”I have been developing a project of opening up a small plantation, upon which to grow herbal medicines that my people have been using for many generations.
