Each weekday, Pulse of the Planet provides its listeners with a two-minute sound portrait of Planet Earth, tracking the rhythms of nature, culture and science worldwide and blending interviews and extraordinary natural sound.

Pulse of the Planet is broadcast over 252 public and commercial stations around the world and on the Armed Forces Radio Network, reaching over one million listeners weekly. The series is presented by the National Science Foundation.


Jim Metzner – Executive Producer

Peggy O’Connor graduated from the University of Texas, began web development in 1993 and has been developing non-stop ever since. Loves programming, especially databases and Adobe Flex. Speaks fluent PHP, and a little Spanish. And East Texas English.
